I attempted to get out and do something but... surprises & responsibilities come up unexpectedly sometimes. I had planned on Friday evening wine with the girls and Saturday day trip to Austin. My son called and didn't want to be home for his step brothers birthday party and wanted to stay with me this weekend... no problem. Then my oldest son wanted me to drive his girlfriend up to see him at school...might as well. So off I went Friday after work driving all over the place. Got home around 10pm. Had a good laugh at dinner with the kids!
Saturday was an allergy-tastic day! My son and I sneezed and hacked and blew our noses off! It was my grandmothers birthday so we went to lunch at Carino's and sneezed our way through it! Was a nice time despite the post nasal drip! We watched The Town with Ben Afflek, decent flick! Today I woke up feeling better and commenced cooking! I made my son bacon and eggs for breakfast, made a new chicken pot pie recipe....was ehhhh! The I cooked a casserole for tomorrow's end of the month pot lunch at work (should have made that for lunch!). We will end our day with Masterpiece Theater and Scott Pilgrim vs The World :)

The Blogging Has Begun
The Daily Snore J Chronicles of My Boring Life
Im Rachel, a 38 year old single person just trying to keep it all together. I work for the State, if that s tells you anything….zzzzzz boring! I am moving into an apartment next week. Will be so glad to have my own place again but not sure what Im going to do with all that solitude. I will just have to get out and get a LIFE! Ha! Well, that is where this blog comes in to play. I am going to write about my experiences trying to GET A LIFE, get healthier, and find the man of my dreams. Thought I had found him “BUT” I was wrong…again. Im sure I will be talking about him in this blog and a few other people and situations that bug the hell out of me. I hope you find amusement from this blog because that s the purpose. I need an outlet and you could use a giggle J
